Have you ever seen people sharing photos on Disney attractions on your social networks or photos that look like they were taken by professionals in the parks? Well, with the Memory maker, the disney photo pack, you too can have these souvenirs from your trip!
The Memory maker is the disney photo pack!
It includes all the photos taken at Disney parks by the photographers, videos and photos taken at some attractions in the parks.
There are three ways to use the Memory maker:
The first and most common is for Magic band.
If you are staying at one of the hotels within Disney you will win one as soon as you check in.
However, if you are not staying at one of the hotels in the Complex, you can purchase the Magic band at the box office or stores parks. Those with more affordable prices can be found at Disney stores in Outlets.
You can also link the ticket in the form of a card with your My Disney Experience account.
And the last way is by the Memory Maker card, which you receive by exchanging the proof of purchase made on the internet at the exchange points. Just like we do with tickets.
At the Memory maker unlike Photopass, you don't pay to download each photo.
But yes, when you buy it you can download all the photos and videos of your trip!
The ones we think are the coolest are the ones taken at the attractions and with characters.
What is the value of Memory Maker? How can I buy it?
The value of the Memory Maker starts at $169 + the fees if you buy up to 3 days before you start using it. If you want to buy on the spot, the price increases to $199 + taxes.
So remember that if you want to buy the photo package on the day of using it or the day before, you must pay the full price of $199 + taxes.
However it is better to plan to buy more than 3 days before your first day at the park.
Both Disney Photopass and Memory Maker photos are available for up to 45 days after the day the photo was taken on the internet or through the My Disney Experience app.
Please note that it is possible to purchase Memory Maker even after you have finished your trip. This if it is still within that 45 days.
To purchase the package in advance (which we recommend), simply access the Disney website.
Memory Maker a day?
A lot of people don't know, but there is the option to buy just one day of Memory Maker!
The value is around $69 + taxes and you can only buy it through the My Disney Experience app.
A detail that ends up taking many people by surprise is to acquire this type of Memory maker is that you need to have at least one photo taken by photographers, that is, when it is already available in the app.
This is a good option for those who want to save money and only go to a Disney park day.
Remembering that this type of Memory Maker Cannot be purchased in advance.
Memory Maker on Card
If you buy your Memory Maker, you can withdraw your card at any of the ticket sales points and / or Guest Relations in the parks or at Disney Spring.
Just present your proof of purchase and the card that was used on site (we recommend Disney springs).
Don't forget to link your Disney Photo Pack your account My disney experience.
That's because if you have a Magic band linked, all photos that are recorded on your bracelet will automatically go there.
Even if you buy your Memory Maker online already logged into your My Disney Experience account, it will already be connected to it.
So when you have your Magic Band, it will already be connected to your Disney Photo Pack.
Is it possible to split Memory Maker?
When you travel with a large group, you need to make sure that everyone is associated with the My Disney Experience account that purchased the photo package.
To do this, you must connect via "Family and Friends" within the application.
Thus, all the photos that are registered both in the Magic Band and in the card of everyone in the group that is associated with the My Disney Experience account will have access to the photos and videos of the Memory Maker.
Remember that there is no need for everyone to be together to link the photos on Memory maker.
That is, each one can be in a park and there is not a maximum number of people that can be linked to Memory.
However, do not share with strangers as this goes against the guidelines of the service.
We say this because there are some groups on the internet that disclose division between families to lower the cost. However, we repeat, this is not accepted and can have consequences.
Photos and videos of Disney attractions
The coolest photos end up being those taken inside the attractions are included in the Disney Photo Pack.
If you have the ticket card, just pass the photo machines when you leave the attraction.
It is very simple, just identify your photo that will be available on different screens at the exit of the attraction and touch your card or magic band on the totem that will be right below it.
Some attractions already manage to identify the guest by the magic band! So you don't even have to scan at the exit of the attraction for your photo to go to your app.
Since not all photos go straight to the My disney experience, we recommend doing it in the same way as for those who have the card: Go to the photo machines and transfer it to your account.
If you purchase the Memory Maker package while staying at a Disney hotel, it will already be linked to your Magic Band.
If you have purchased the package and will not be staying at the Complex, you will need to go to a Guest Relation in the parks or Disney Spring.
There they will associate your My Disney Experience account with their Magic Band.

Get your Parks Tickets at a Discount
Many people leave to buy their tickets arriving in Orlando or even on the day of the park.
We do not in any way recommend that you do this for a variety of reasons, such as:
If you buy tickets on the spot, you won't be able to book your park days in advance at the risk of not even being able to enter a park on a given day.
You will lose valuable park minutes in line to buy your tickets.
AND MAINLY, you will pay more because tickets at the box office are more expensive than buying in advance!
Access our sale site to buy your tickets or request a free consultation to find out exactly which tickets are the best to buy.
