With all the success that the movie Frozen had, Disney could not fail to create attractions using this universe as a theme. Thus came Frozen Ever After, an incredible attraction within the Anna and Elsa universe!

The most interesting place to embark on this freezing world is at Epcot, more specifically in the Norway pavilion, of course.

Before Frozen Ever After, the attraction consisted of a boat adventure through wild lands and was called Maelstrom.

After the film Frozen, more specifically from June 2016, the attraction was replaced by Frozen Ever After, in which case the boat trip decided to explore other routes, going to the kingdom of Arendelle.

Find Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff are just some of the experiences that Frozen Ever After Epcot offers.

Furthermore, the space of norway flag it also has a shop that sells souvenirs and products with the theme of the film.

The restaurant in the Norway pavilion complements the Frozen universe experience with meals that transport visitors to Scandinavian cuisine.

All of this is part of this pavilion that, together with Epcot's Frozen Ever After, celebrates the film by taking its fans to an experience in the frozen realm.

In Norway, visiting Elsa's palace and exploring settings reminiscent of the film are some of the experiences provided by this pavilion.

How is Frozen Ever After

It all starts in Epcot's beautiful and cold Norway and visitors are invited to explore the land of the Frozen characters.

Right at the beginning of the journey, you meet Elsa and Anna to take a photo and take it as a souvenir of this visit, and then, board a boat towards the freezing adventure.

The whole family can participate in this adventure, therefore there is no age limit. Just sit on the boat and enjoy the ride through the kingdom of Arendelle.

The tour is quick, it lasts about 5 minutes, but it's worth every moment.

The images and soundtrack really transport all participants to the movie's setting and during this journey you will not only meet Elsa and Anna, but also Olaf, Kristoff, Sven, Grandpa Pabbie, Marshmallow and the Snowgies.

Some characters are puppets that move subtly, but show so much realism that they really impress.

We don't want to spoil the attraction, so if you want to stop here, go to the next item with attraction tips and suggestions for enjoying Frozen Ever After and the other attractions in the Norway pavilion.

If you want to continue, if knowing a little more doesn't change anything for you, don't disembark.

The first character that appears on the boat trip is Olaf singing while welcoming visitors. Anna and Kristoff also give a straw with ?For the First Time in Forever?.

But, when we found Elsa, we reached the peak of the tour.

Frozen's most freezing character sings ?Let it go? and it's right at the chorus when she starts to create her ice castle as the boat pulls away, taking visitors to the highest point of this attraction.

It is an environment decorated with the objects of the royal family that is in the city of Trondheim, Norway.

The precision of details in the decoration is something very special that deserves to be admired. Among the objects included in the decoration are paintings, toys, among others that you will find in the Frozen sisters' house.

Both the facade and the interior have a lot of wood in the decoration, and among the items that are sold there are toys, costumes, accessories and even paintings for you to take as a souvenir, all from the Frozen universe.

Akershus Restaurant

Anyone who is passionate about the Frozen universe can complement the experience by having a meal at Akershus, the restaurant in the Norway pavilion.

Reinforcing the atmosphere, the Akershus has a medieval decoration in the Norwegian style.

Interestingly, the environment was inspired by a real Norwegian castle called Akershus.

The cool thing about this restaurant is that you meets several princesses.

Elsa and Anna are not there, of course, because they are staying at Royal Sommerhus.

But it is an opportunity to take pictures with another princess who will be at the reception.

Other princesses circulate around the tables taking pictures during the meal, and even make a parade with the children at certain times of the day.

Usually four or five princesses are present at Akershus, but there is a rotation between them, so the surprise is that you never know who you will meet there.

As for meals, Akershus serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, always in buffet style for you to help yourself to.

Breakfast is in the traditional style of Disney hotels and restaurants, while lunch and dinner have a little Norwegian touch.

In these meals there are seafood, cheeses and cured meats. You might think that children don't like this cuisine so much, but don't worry about their taste buds because pizza, pasta and grills are always included in the buffet, in addition to delicious desserts.
