For many, the dream of meeting them exists and needs to be fulfilled, right? At the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, however, this is very possible, as both you and all your family and friends have the opportunity to have a very special meal with them.

The restaurant, in this way, allows you to spend some time of your day – whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner – in the presence of the princesses, which, depending on the moment, vary.
Of course, you can find them throughout the park during the day at Epcot, for example, but taking the opportunity to “eat” with them is something unique that the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall can provide, in addition to all that magical atmosphere…
Going to the restaurant is an exclusive experience, which, for those who can, without a doubt, must happen.
However, remember that, as it is inside the park, it is necessary to have the admission ticket dated on the day of the tour.
Oh, and it is worth mentioning that the reservation must be made in advance (180 days, more or less), due to the high demand for a table (Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is based on table service – table service -, which requires a prior reservation).
What does the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall offer?
Well, the restaurant, as mentioned above, offers meals with the Disney princesses, in an environment totally created to make the moment incredible and pleasurable for customers.
So the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is basically a medieval castle, with high ceilings and stone arches, where princesses walk past tables and take pictures with tourists, as well as sign autographs.
Regarding food, breakfast is the most varied time. That's because there is definitely not such a deep connection with Norwegian cuisine.
It's a more comprehensive buffet, so to speak.
In it, you and your family will be able to taste breads, scrambled eggs, cakes, etc.
Breakfast prices are in the range of 34 and 53 dollars, per child and adult, respectively (a little salty, come on!).
At lunch and dinner, there is a buffet, but also a la carte, when you choose the dish ready.
The buffet is even known as Taste of Norway, that is, likes of norway, which cover cheeses, salads and fruits.
The a la carte options, however, are varied as well, from meatballs to salmon.
Main course prices are $63 per adult and $41 for children (ages 3-9).
Breakfast is perhaps the most interesting part of the day to go, since, after a good “rango”, you will have the whole day ahead of you to enjoy the park.
The kids will be satisfied, and the ride will be even more amazing.
Also, as the restaurant opens before the park, as soon as you finish your meal, you can enter a little earlier than other visitors and already guarantee seats in certain lines of attractions.

meeting the princesses
Initially and normally, Bela, from A Beautiful and the Beast, it's the princess who does the reception when you walk through the entrance.
Later, during the meal, other princesses, such as Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Ariel, pass between the customers' tables to interact with them.
It is at this point that you will be able to register the encounter, finally.
It is important to note that, unlike the first photo - taken at the restaurant's reception -, the others do not have the official Disney photographer to capture the moment.
With this, you make the image yourself from your camera or cell phone. In the first case, however, the photos will be available on Memory maker or on the Photopass.
While the characters above are the ones you are most likely to encounter while dining at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, you may encounter others as well. However, there is no way to know which ones will be present which part of the day. It's more of an "out of the box" thing.
The princesses you can find there are:
- Ariel
- Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
- Belle
- Snow White
- Cinderella
- Jasmine
- Mary Poppins (less likely, not least because she always stays in the England pavilion)
That way, the probability of you bumping into what you really want to know is 50%, lol.
Some are more frequent than others, however.
Like, Belle is almost certain to be there.
In addition, Disney regularly offers four or five princesses, but, as said, there is always a rotation between them, which makes the experience different, depending on the day and time.
For children, in this sense, at a certain point during the meal, there is a parade with the princesses, in which they can walk through the immense hall and have fun together.

The Akershus Royal Banquet Hall restaurant is located in the Norway pavilion - or Norway -, between the pavilions of the Mexico and from China.

As the Princess Storybook Dining service is based on three moments (breakfast, lunch and dinner), there are three times available to enjoy Norwegian cuisine. However, it still may be subject to change.

Is it worth going to the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall?
It's an otherworldly experience. Just imagine: you and the Disney princesses on a date in one of the best parks in the world?
It's impossible to be a bad time, right?
So, yes, it is really worth, at least once, to go to the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and guarantee this interaction with the fairytale characters.
However, it's not cheap.
Therefore, the main – and negative – point is the cost of realizing this dream. Thinking about the dollar conversion, for example, a lunch that costs 63 dollars, currently, would be worth 320 reais, more or less.
If your family has four adult members, this amount would reach 1,000 reais.
I mean, it's not cheap at all.
That way, thinking about the cost-benefit, it wouldn't be an advantage, after all, you have the possibility to meet the princesses - which is the differential of the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - during your day at Epcot.
Even though the prices for children are cheaper – and they are the most benefited from meals with the princesses – the service is just as expensive.
Thus, it is worth mentioning that, depending on your condition, it will not be worth it to pay such money for a few minutes of meeting.
So, priorities must be placed on the scales.
