Epcot is a park with many hidden details and things to do, especially in World showcase. Today you can check out everything that exists in Epcot's Italy Pavilion
On this post
This pavilion will surely delight all those who have visited Italy and even those who have never been there.

If you're looking for a place in Epcot with great food and huge similarities to your country of reference, the Italy pavilion will be an incredible destination.
But what good is there to do there? Let's check it out next.

The Best Attractions in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot
Unlike other countries' pavilions at Epcot, the Italy area has no attractions in the more “traditional” sense of the word.
That is: there is no toy, roller coaster or any other “formalized” activity of this type.

Which doesn't mean they don't exist. very cool things to do there.
Check out some of our suggestions below!
The canals of Venice
Until recently, Disney had a plan to build a waterway in the Italy Pavilion, where visitors could board gondolas and feel like they were in Venice.
However, those plans appear to have been stalled or abandoned entirely by Disney.

Despite this, a large part of the gondola route has been built and it is possible to walk on the edge of it.
Over there, there is a bridge inspired by the famous Ponte della Pagliain Venice, and real gondolas, same as the city.
It is a sensational spot for those who want to feel like they are in Venice and are looking for a great photo opportunity.
The replica of the Doge's Palace
One of the features of World's Showcase is to try to recreate the experience to visit a country.
The idea is to celebrate the culture of that place in every way: tours, food and, of course, architecture.

One of the highlights of the Italy Pavilion is the replica of the Doge's Palace, one of the main tourist attractions in Venice.
The replica is very detailed, with excellent craftsmanship by the Disney staff. The bricks, tiles, the detailed columns… everything is very well done.
General architecture of the Italy Pavilion
The Doge's Palace is one of the focal points of the Italian Pavilion, but it's not the only point for architecture lovers.

The entire place is incredibly decorated by Disney, in a work that can only be described as heavenly.
To cite two examples: Il Bel Cristallo and The Neptune Fountain.

The first is a store that is made like the famous Sistine Chapel, one of the most incredible works of Michelangelo.
The second reproduces the Trevi Fountain, in Rome, and is a great place for a photo or a request.

Sergio the comedian
Among the cast of the Italian Pavilion at the Epcot, a name stands out: Sergio.
Anyone who has been to the place knows what we are talking about. Sérgio is an attraction in itself: he puts on a show in the central square of the Pavilion that lasts about 20 minutes.

In that time, he juggles soccer balls and keeps the audience entertained.
It's very easy to find him: he wears a white T-shirt with red stripes, similar to Wally's.
If you have the opportunity, take a break to watch it. You will not regret!
Where to eat at the Italy Pavilion at Epcot
Italy is known for having some of the best cuisine in the world.
Pizza, ravioli, pasta, breaded steak, risotto, lasagna, carpaccio, bruschetta… hmmm… there are so many delicious dishes.

And let's face it: we in Brazil love Italian food, right? It is no wonder that the Olive Garden is the favorite restaurant for Brazilians in Orlando.
Lucky for those who love Italian food, the Pavilion has three specialty restaurants (and both are great!).
They are a little expensive. If you want eat cheap at Epcot, would have to look elsewhere. However, the food is very tasty. Check out!
Tutto Italia Ristorante
The tutto italy is an upscale restaurant located in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot.
The place serves Italian cuisine with great care and quality.
There are several options for pasta, lasagna, risotto, salmon and pasta in general.

For dessert, ice cream, chocolate cake, cannoli, ricotta pie and tiramisu mocha.
As it is a higher level place, the price is also a little higher.
Salmon, for example, costs $27 dollars (same price as lasagna). Spaghetti is $$22. And risotto costs $31 and caesar salad $19.
The most affordable dish is the noodle and bean soup ($$9).
Tutto Gusto Winery
Another top-notch place in the Pavilion is Tutto Gusto, a wine cellar with some high-quality dishes.
My favorite is the meatballs parmigiana ($16 dollars), but the place has many other dishes like fettuccine ($30 dollars), salmon ($31 dollars), chicken parmesan ($32 dollars), spaghetti ($25 dollars) and lasagna ($28 dollars).

For dessert, Nutella chocolate cake ($$4), tiramisu ($$4) and cannoli ($$4).
Ah, as you would expect, the place has an incredible wine list, so no oenophile can fault it.
Via Napoli Ristorante and Pizzeria
Specializing in southern Italian cuisine, Via Napoli has pretty much everything other restaurants have too: lasagna (made in the Napoli style, of course), ravioli, spaghetti, fettucine, chicken, salads and pasta in general.
What sets it apart, though, is that the only pizzeria in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot.

There are many options for pizzas made in the Neapolitan style: margherita, broccoli, four cheeses, pepperoni… in short, many flavors.
The sizes also vary: some are individual, others serve up to 3 people (and there is one that measures half a meter!).

For a more economical meal, it is the best alternative. A large pepperoni pizza, for example, serves up to 3 people and costs $33 dollars, more or less $11 dollars per person, which is not an absurd amount.
We have a post totally focused on Via Napoli here on the Blog!
As you can see, there is a lot to do in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot.
It's true that the place is a little quieter than other pavilions, with fewer attractions and characters, but it's a good place to slow down the park.

If you want a quality Italian meal and a break from the frenetic pace of rides, lines and all the Disney stimuli, this is the ideal place.

Get your Parks Tickets at a Discount
Many people leave to buy their tickets when they arrive in Orlando or even on park day.
We absolutely do not recommend that you do this for a number of reasons, such as:
If you buy tickets on the spot, you won't be able to book your park days in advance at the risk of not even being able to enter a park on a given day.
You will lose valuable park minutes in line to buy your tickets.
AND MOSTLY, you will pay more because tickets at the box office are more expensive than buying in advance!
