Olive Garden Orlando - Good and Cheap Italian Food

Orlando is not just parks, much of a fantastic travel experience is knowing good restaurants and Olive garden It is one of the places you will want to know!

It is still a favorite with tourists and undoubtedly one of ours too!

And his fame is no coincidence, good food at a great price makes him one of the best options for dinner after that tiring day in the city. Magic kingdom or any other Orlando park.

Any of the units in this restaurant are full of Brazilians, and those traveling to visit Disney also usually book at least one day to see one of its branches.

In a way, the Olive garden it has already become a “tourist spot” for several tourists in Orlando.

Olive Garden Fried Lasagna

We love the Olive Garden, so much so that on our last trip we went 2 times.

They have an entry there that is one of my favorites of all Orlando restaurants. (Spoiler) is the Fried Lasagna (photo above)!

But what's so good about this restaurant chain? Why are Brazilians so attracted to her? Let's see next!

What is Olive Garden Orlando?

You walk the streets of Orlando when you notice, in the distance, a kind of & #8220; with stones, some marsala walls and some orange.

He approaches carefully and the logo with a green olive branch appears in front of him.

That's it: You've arrived at Olive Garden, one of Orlando's premier restaurant chains.

They serve Italian food that has been & americanised & #8220. This means the recipes are not original 100%, which you would find in Italy, but updated with some US habits.

One of the most interesting details there is that food is cheap by Orlando restaurant standards.

That is: it is possible to arrive, order two main courses and a dessert and leave for less than $ $40.

Is it easy to find Olive Garden in Orlando?

Why talk if I can show. Look at the amount of Olive Garden you find around the city.

In addition to these options, there are still many Olive Garden branches in cities around Orlando as we have shown above in the post.

What is the restaurant menu like?

Since we mention prices and everything, let's take a moment to talk about the Olive Garden Orlando menu.

As there are so many different franchise branches, they are different menus and it is hard to say for sure what you will find in each place.

It is possible to check the online menus (we recommend you do this), but the most famous dishes are almost mandatory in all franchises.

For example, the famous Shrimp Alfredo (noodles in white sauce with shrimp) is found in virtually every unit. By the way, check out a list of Olive Garden's main dishes:

  • Seafood Alfredo: pasta in white sauce with seafood;
  • Shrimp Alfredo: noodles in white sauce with shrimp;
  • Chicken Alfredo: pasta in white sauce with chicken;
  • Cheese Ravioli: Cheese Ravioli;
  • Chicken Parmigiana: Two parmigiana fried chicken breasts, with marinara sauce, melted Parmesan cheese, accompanied by spaghetti;
  • Eggplant Parmigiana: Eggplant parmigiana with marinara sauce, melted Parmesan cheese and spaghetti;
  • Lasagna Classico: lasagna with parmesan, mozzarella, and gravy;
  • Five Cheese Ziti al Forno: A mixture of five cheese and pasta.

These are some of the most classic dishes served in virtually every unit of Olive Garden Orlando.

Apart from them, there are still many other food options such as salads, seafood, meat, chicken and more.

Loved the starters too. They serve a wonderful bagel that is free and also has the Lasagna Fries that we commented at the beginning of this post.

This fried lasagna is exactly as the name says and is creamy and delicious!

One of the most interesting options is the Tour of Italy, which serves small portions of three of the house's main dishes: Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna Classico and Chicken Parmigiana.

Another nice possibility is to set up your own bowl (I like the word cumbuca!) With 6 pasta options, 5 sauce alternatives and 6 mixing choices.

You can assemble a bowl of spaghetti with 5-cheese sauce and grilled chicken breast. Or angel hair with marinara sauce and meatballs.

There are many possible combinations.

In addition to the main dishes, one of the highlights of Olive Garden Orlando are the famous garlic and butter rolls that are served with accompaniment.

Their dough is a secret, but the breads are delicious. They offer a basket with some breads, totally free.

This entry, of course, is one of Olive Garden's greatest hits. There are people who go there just for that! So much so that the restaurant has created some sandwiches with these breads (which are also a hit).

What is the price of meals at Olive Garden?

Olive Garden is a cheap restaurant by Orlando standards.

Of course, you can eat cheaper than him in the Disney parks (like in the Epcot, Magic kingdom and Hollywood Studios).

However, they are fast food, mostly frozen that are heated or fried on the spot.

Here the food is nicer, tastier and the price goes a little higher.

The good news is that the dishes are so rich that you can split in two and not starve. For example, Chicken Parmigiana comes with two chicken breast steaks and plenty of pasta. It gives two people a meal and costs $16.99 (about $8.50 per person).

The Tour of Italy is also a split dish for two people and costs $ $18.49. The option of mounting your custom bowl of pasta costs $11.99.

Overall, the main dishes revolve around this: from $ $15 to $ $20 each, a little less on the cheaper ones. Rare dishes that exceed $ $20 are rare.

Desserts (chocolate brownie lasagna, mousse, dolcini, tiramisu, are many options) range from $ 3 to $ $7, with few options above that.

Again, you can check all prices in advance at online menu of the restaurants.

Is it worth eating there?

Well, having seen all this, we come to the golden question: is it worth eating at Olive Garden Orlando?

For me, the answer is simple: yes, it's worth it.

There are many reasons for this. The units are very well located and affordable, the price is very good, the service is excellent (you still get some mint chocolate along with the bill) and the food is delicious and the price is not the worst.

When we put all the points together, the experience is extremely positive. You eat very well, spending little per person and in a comfortable environment, without being crowded and with a professional service.

It's worth visiting one of the branches at least once (but I'm sure after the first dinner you'll always want to go back there!).

A good tip to get the most out of Olive Garden is to sign up for their newsletter (on the official website) a few days before your trip. So you can earn some discount coupons or free desserts.

Get your Parks Tickets at a Discount

Many people leave to buy their tickets arriving in Orlando or even on the day of the park.

We do not in any way recommend that you do this for a variety of reasons, such as:

If you buy tickets on the spot, you won't be able to book your park days in advance at the risk of not even being able to enter a park on a given day.

You will lose valuable park minutes in line to buy your tickets.

AND MAINLY, you will pay more because tickets at the box office are more expensive than buying in advance!
