The store debuted as part of the expansion Fantasyland on October 12, 2012. The store officially opened on December 6, 2012.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the Bonjour! Village Gifts is that it gave me the feeling of a “bookstore”. And even very similar to what you find in the film Beautiful and the Beast.
The film shows the alcove from inside and outside the store. Still, beyond the word "Bonjour“, you don't get many other references to the film's bookstore, unfortunately.
But as soon as you enter the store, you already lose all the bookshop feeling, quite the opposite. She shows herself store “ordinary” but extremely elegant filled with flowers, pictures and china.
Contrary to what I thought before meeting the Bonjour! Village Gifts, a store presents very few products aimed at children.
You even find clothes for small children, some stuffed animals and some other disney products aimed at minors, but the vast majority of products on display are aimed at adults. I thought it was fantastic and wanted to buy everything.
