ET Adventure: Universal Studios attraction

The ET Adventure it is one of the classic attractions of Universal Studios that you must visit at least once.

It was based on the film of the same name, one of Steven Spielberg's 1982 classics. So you can see adults and children in the queue.

THE ride is at Woody Woodpecker's KidZone, known as the “Pica Pau area”. More precisely, in front of Fievel's Playland.

ET Adventure has also been present at Universal Studios in the cities of Hollywood and Osaka (Japan).

However, the attractions were removed from these parks in the years 2003 and 2009, respectively.

ET Adventure Features

Steven Spielberg's film

First of all, it is important that you understand the context of the film. According to the story, an ET is "forgotten" on Earth after the visit of aliens to our planet.

Soon after ET meets Elliott, a boy becomes his friend and helps him in his return.

At the end of the film, the ET manages to return home with a transport very similar to a bicycle.

Elliott is piloting and the alien is in a basket in front of the transport.

It was one of those films that revolutionized an era and is really a cute movie to watch, even today. It also counts on Drew Barimore (soooo new), who hasn't seen it yet, so watch this walk Universal Studios attraction it will be even more fun.

The attraction

The ET Adventure carts simulate the vehicle that takes the alien back to his home, which is on the Green Planet.

You will be able to be part of this trip, as you will be in Elliott's place, riding the bike!

The attraction is yet another of Orlando's incredible dark rides. That is, it is a simulator in the dark. So, on the way, you may be surprised by the movements of your bicycle!

Despite being relatively exciting, the attraction is not fast. The intention is to explore the paths traveled by the ET. Therefore, children above 0.86 meters will be able to embark on this adventure.

A really cool thing about this attraction is that right in line, someone will ask your name! This is not a random question, at the end of the attraction the ET will say goodbye to almost all the names they register.

It is worth mentioning that he cannot speak Hispanic or non-American names very well, that of Nathalia, my wife, for example, it is very difficult to understand.

But anyway, it's cool to hear ET trying to speak your name.

How is the ET Adventure queue?

To be quite honest, this is one of the queues I like most among all the queues at Universal Studios park (loses to Harry Potter and Mummy only).

Okay, this queue brings back excellent memories of when I went to Universal Studios Orlando for the first time when I was 6 years old (I remember a few things, but this queue is one of them).

The theme of the queue, the smell, everything is very well designed, you have the real feeling of being in a forest surrounded by trees, which makes the queue a little less stressful on busy days.

Like the Orlando classics, ET Adventure tends to have long lines. The attraction is undoubtedly nostalgic for adults and very exciting for children!

However, you can be distracted while you wait.

As soon as you enter the attraction, you will be invited by Steven Spielberg to help ET Ali, he explains that only the friendly alien can save the Green Planet.

Once inside the attraction, you will notice that you are in a forest. In addition, some land policemen seek ET, because they believe that it does harm to humans.

Then, you are invited to save the ET from the cops and take him to his planet safely!

Universal Express

In order for you to optimize your time at Universal Studios, it is worth using the Universal Express on ET Adventure.

On the other hand, the attraction does not have a single rider.

How is the ET Adventure course?

After you get on your bike, you will notice that the ET will be in the basket in front of you. That is, the reproduction is identical to what appears in the original film.

In the beginning, the vehicle will still be in the forest.

Therefore, you must help the ET to get out of there, so that it reaches the Green Planet. Therefore, the bicycle will get up, to fly over the city and escape from the police.

Then, some lights can be seen and act as a “portal”. Finally, you will realize that you arrived on the Green Planet and that you managed to save your friend ET

For bicycles to be able to return to Earth, a flash is perceived by everyone. At the end of the ET Adventure tour, you can hear your alien friend saying “I'll be right here”.

Get your Parks Tickets at a Discount

Many people leave to buy their tickets arriving in Orlando or even on the day of the park.

We do not in any way recommend that you do this for a variety of reasons, such as:

If you buy tickets on the spot, you won't be able to book your park days in advance at the risk of not even being able to enter a park on a given day.

You will lose valuable park minutes in line to buy your tickets.

AND MAINLY, you will pay more because tickets at the box office are more expensive than buying in advance!
