The ET Adventure it is one of the classic Universal Studios attractions that you must visit at least once.

It was based on the movie of the same name, one of Steven Spielberg's 1982 classics. That's why you can see adults and children in line.

The ride It is located in Woody Woodpecker's KidZone, known as the ?Pau Woody area?. More precisely, in front of Fievel's Playland.

ET Adventure has also been present at Universal Studios in the cities of Hollywood and Osaka (Japan).

However, the attractions were removed from these parks in 2003 and 2009, respectively.

Features of ET Adventure

Steven Spielberg's film

First of all, it is important that you understand the context of the film. According to the story, an ET is ?forgotten? on Earth after the visit of aliens to our planet.

Soon after ET meets Elliott, a boy becomes his friend and helps him in his return.

At the end of the film, the ET manages to return home with a transport very similar to a bicycle.

Elliott is piloting and the alien is inside a basket, in front of the transport.

It was one of those movies that revolutionized an era and is really a cute movie to watch, even today. It even counts with Drew Barimore (very young), who hasn't watched it yet, see how to walk this Universal Studios attraction it will be even more fun.

The Ride

The ET Adventure cars simulate the vehicle that takes the alien back to his home, which is on the Green Planet.

You can be part of this trip as you will be in Elliott's shoes, riding the bike!

The attraction is one of Orlando's incredible dark rides. That is, it is a simulator in the dark. So, along the way, you might be surprised by the movements of your bike!

Despite being relatively exciting, the attraction is not quick. The intention is to clear the paths covered by the ET Therefore, children over 0.86 meters will be able to embark on this adventure.

A very cool thing about this attraction is that right in the queue, a person will ask your name! This is not a random question, at the end of the attraction ET will say goodbye to almost every name they register.

It is worth mentioning that he cannot speak Hispanic or non-American names very well, Nathalia, my wife, for example, is very difficult to understand.

But it's nice to hear ET trying to speak your name anyway.

How is the ET Adventure queue?

To be quite honest, this is one of the lines I like the most among all the lines at Universal Studios park (loses to Harry Potter and Mummy only).

Okay, this line brings back great memories of when I went to Universal Studios Orlando for the first time when I was 6 years old (I remember a few things, but this line is one of them).

The queue theme, the smell, is all very well designed, you have the real sensation of being in a forest surrounded by trees, which makes the queue a little less stressful on busy days.

Like Orlando classics, ET Adventure often has long lines. The attraction is undoubtedly nostalgic for adults and very exciting for children!

However, you can get distracted while you wait.

As soon as you enter the attraction, you will be invited by Steven Spielberg to help ET Ali, he explains that only the friendly alien can save the Green Planet.

Once inside the attraction, you will realize that you are in a forest. In addition, some ground police seek out the ET, as they believe it harms humans.

You are then asked to save ET from the cops and get him to his planet safely!

Universal Express

So that you can optimize your time at Universal Studios, it is worth using the Universal Express on ET Adventure.

On the other hand, the attraction does not have a single rider.

How is the ET Adventure route?

After you get on your bike, you'll notice that the ET will be in the basket in front of you. That is, the reproduction is identical to what appears in the original film.

At first, the vehicle will still be in the forest.

Therefore, you must help the ET to get out of there, so that it reaches the Green Planet. So the bike will get up, to fly over the city and escape from the police.

Then some lights can be seen and they work as a ?portal?. Finally, you will realize that you have arrived on the Green Planet and that you have managed to save your friend ET.

In order for the bikes to be able to return to Earth, a flash is noticed by everyone. At the end of the ET Adventure course, you will be able to hear your alien friend saying ?I?ll be right here? ("I'll be fine here").
