Let's be honest: who hasn't dreamed of a Disney wedding?

Anyone who grew up in the 80s, 90s and 2000s has already imagined what the opportunity to say “I do” in one of the Disney parks.

Surely you've seen some people fulfilling this dream on Instagram or videos on YouTube.

But how to do it? And, more importantly, how much does it cost to get married at Disney?

Or rather: can you hold the ceremony there?

Let's find out!

Is it possible to get married at Disney?

First, let's go to the most common doubt! Is it possible to get married at Disney?

YES!

Not only can you, but Disney wants this and has created a specific company to help those interested in fulfilling their dream of getting married there.

By the way, Disney is not silly, right?

She knows that there is a huge demand from people who have the dream of a fairy tale wedding at Disney and, therefore, decided to formalize a way to make this wish come true.

The Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons (or just Disney Weddings to make it even easier) is a program that offers wedding and honeymoon service at Disney facilities.

You can get married in a few places: Disneyland, California; at the Disney World complex in Florida; in Hawaii and on the Disney cruises.

Basically anywhere your imagination (and your pocketbook) can take you!

Well, here comes the slightly more complicated part.

After all, each person has a different dream and Disney tried to organize things in some packages for those interested.

There are three packages available: Wishes, Escape and Memories.

Of course, each package has its own value and features! We'll go into a little more detail about each of the wedding packages below.

Disney Wedding Packages

Memories

The Memories package is the cheapest and simplest of all. It offers an experience of about an hour and, after the ceremony, you can take pictures at the venue.

  • Maximum number of guests: 4
  • Minimum spend: US$ 2,500.00

  • Maximum number of guests: 18
  • Minimum spend: US$ 5,000.00

As you saw above, in Memories there aren't many opportunities to customize the wedding, but that changes here in Escape.

To start, you can select whether you want to get married in Disney World, Florida, Disneyland, California or Hawaii.

Each of these locations has its own specific wedding spaces, but the package includes the following items in all versions:

How much does a Disney wedding cost?

Now that we understand the three main packages to get married at Disney, it's time to talk about prices. How much does it cost to hold this wedding?

The Memories package is the cheapest and the price starts at $$2,500, excluding taxes, additional fees or gratuities. On special dates, the value may increase.

As for the Escape package, prices started at around USD $7,000, excluding interest, fees and gratuities. The value can go up to $7,500 or $8,000 dollars depending on the chosen location.

The Whishes package works a little differently. It has a minimum spend of $12,000 USD and its value is calculated as follows:

  • Number of guests * Value per person + buffet;
  • Ceremony venue fee +
  • Custom Items

In other words: a dinner at the Wedding Pavilion for 60 people, without any extras, would cost $14,900 dollars.
