Features of Journey Into Imagination With Figment
History
The first ride of Innoventions East was inaugurated in 1983 and lasted 15 years under the name ?Journey into Imagination?. In this scenario, the characters, which also included Figment, took you to a dream world.
Then, in 1999, Journey Into YOUR Imagination took over the venue. However, Epcot audiences did not like this attraction, and for that reason, it closed in 2001.
So, in 2002, Journey Into Imagination With Figment was inaugurated and is a success until today. Through Figment's help, we were able to explore the 5 senses of the human body in interesting ways.
The Ride
Upon entering Innoventions East, you will notice that there are 5 laboratories and that each one works on a different sense of the body.
The Doctor. Nigel Channing will invite you on a trip, but Figment will be up to some mischief.
In short, you will enter a vehicle that travels on a track. There are no height or age restrictions, so everyone in the family can have fun and learn a little more about the human body during 6 minutes.

How is the Journey Into Imagination With Figment queue?
Queues for this attraction are not usually very long, but if in doubt, use your FastPass +. Although we never needed it!
Many people find the attraction childish, especially the older ones, but it is one of Disney's classic attractions. For that, she deserves our recognition.
As soon as you walk in, you'll see the Imagination Institute lobby, where doors lead to different labs and offices and a wall displays the year's inventors, including Professor Wayne Szalinski from the movie Wish, I Shrunk the Kids and Professor Philip Brainard's laboratory ( Robbin Williams) from the movie Flubber.
It's really cool, because these 2 movies were very important in my childhood!
In fact, there are a ton of references to previous Disney movies both in the queue and on the attraction itself.
So go at least once on Journey Into Imagination With Figment. The Very Cute Purple Dragon manages to get up to so many pranks that the course becomes very funny.
How is the Journey Into Imagination With Figment route?
At the beginning of the journey, Dr. Nigel Channing will invite you to visit the Imagination Institute. To accompany you, the friendly dragon Figment joins the group of visitors.
The idea of Dr. Channing is to introduce you to the 5 senses of the human body and the way technology converses with them. But along the way, Figment disrupts the experiments and even becomes a skunk.
In this scenario, therefore, you will notice if your sense of smell works well…
Then Dr. Channing is irritated by Figment's antics. Then, the dragon takes the group of visitors to his home, but the adventure is also short-lived. Once again, the scientist interrupts the dragon.
At the end, both sing the song "One Little Spark", because everything ends well. Therefore, you learn about the 5 senses of the human body in a fun and interactive way.

Get your Parks Tickets at a Discount
Many people leave to buy their tickets when they arrive in Orlando or even on park day.
We absolutely do not recommend that you do this for a number of reasons, such as:
If you buy tickets on the spot, you won't be able to book your park days in advance at the risk of not even being able to enter a park on a given day.
You will lose valuable park minutes in line to buy your tickets.
AND MOSTLY, you will pay more because tickets at the box office are more expensive than buying in advance!
