Cobra's Curse is one of the most different roller coasters you can find in Orlando. In fact, in Tampa!
The Busch Gardens it is very close to Orlando, about 1h30 trip.
The park is very popular with those who like extreme adventures. Its theme is inspired by an African safari.
Returning to Cobra's Curse, she is a ride very unique. Its route has an elevation of the cart and speed close to 65 kilometers per hour.
As if that were not enough, the Cobra's Curse stroller still revolves around you at various times!
This makes you walk the rails from the front, from the side and even from the back!
Features of Cobra's Curse
Cobra's Curse doesn't have as high a speed as its neighbor Cheetah hunt. Still, it is a very interesting and obviously sought after attraction!
What draws attention in the Cobra's Curse it is its beginning, when the cart is lifted. The structure is very similar to an elevator, but does not fall from the top.
Up there are the tracks. From there, the cart starts to move and, at the same time, goes around the axis itself. And that happens at the same time that the speed reaches 64 kilometers per hour!
A very interesting piece of information is that Cobra's Curse is the only roller coaster in the world that has this route! It really is a very cool attraction that is worth visiting.
In addition, the turns the cart takes are random. That way, if you go to the attraction twice in a row, you can enjoy different sensations in a single day!
Another really cool fact is that Cobra's Curse was designed for the whole family. Children over 1.07 meters are allowed to enter the attraction.
How is the Cobra's Curse queue?
Cobra's Curse tells the story of King Cobra. He was killed 2,000 years ago and his head buried in the sands of Egypt. In the attraction, you will be an archaeologist who is about to awaken the snake's curse (translation from Cobra's Curse).
Thus, the environment of the queue has an archaeological theme: shovels, notes and mummies. The walls and ceiling have a sand-like color. In addition, there are projections that tell the history of the peoples of Ancient Egypt.
The most interesting, and perhaps dreadful, part is the poisonous snakes. They are exposed for part of the route.
There are 4 species that stand out: Jameson's Mamba, Angolan Python, Rhinoceros Viper and Gabon Viper.
According to a worker from Busch Gardens, the purpose of this is to make visitors aware of the importance of environmental preservation.
As you might imagine, Cobra's Curse has a long queuing time. Because it is a very different attraction, even if you go more than once, it attracts many visitors.
Is it worth using Quick Queue in Cobra's Curse?
In Orlando and Tampa parks, any opportunity to shorten the waiting time for attractions is very valid!
As Busch Gardens does not have a single rider, Quick Queue is an excellent option! It can be purchased online, in advance, or at the ticket offices of the participating parks (Busch Gardens, Sea World and Aquatica).
How is the course of Cobra's Curse?
As soon as you get in the cart, it will walk a little and it will be lifted. At that moment, you will be able to see the King Cobra in front of you.
Up there, the route begins, as well as the trolleys around you. Remember that, in each match, these spins are random and depend on the weight of the crew (it is automatically measured by the cart).
The duration of the Cobra's Curse route is, on average, 2 minutes. Each game is unique, and I recommend that you go on this attraction more than once to feel the difference!
An important tip for you to enjoy Cobra's Curse
Because it has more radical attractions than other Orlando parks, Busch Gardens does not allow you to travel with backpacks. There are attractions that even cameras and cell phones are prohibited.
Therefore, the park has lockers strategically spread, but not free of charge. Rental rates vary depending on the time you will be using the lockers.

Get your Parks Tickets at a Discount
Many people leave to buy their tickets arriving in Orlando or even on the day of the park.
We do not in any way recommend that you do this for a variety of reasons, such as:
If you buy tickets on the spot, you won't be able to book your park days in advance at the risk of not even being able to enter a park on a given day.
You will lose valuable park minutes in line to buy your tickets.
AND MAINLY, you will pay more because tickets at the box office are more expensive than buying in advance!
