When we watch the movie Avatar it's common to think: ?How dull life on Earth is?.
Is that the universe created by James Cameron (director of the film) is so rich in its colors, shapes and adventures that it is impossible not to imagine yourself in the world of Pandora.
Luckily, if you want to delve into that world in real life, there is a place, and it's located in the park. Animal kingdom from Disney.
The area destined for the world of Pandora opened in May 2017 and has several attractions, including the Avatar Flight of Passage, certainly the most popular attraction in the entire park.
It may be that this article, at times, brings some spoilers about what you will find there.
But that's ok, because the experience always exceeds the description.

Pandora from Animal Kingdom
The Avatar World in Animal Kingdom really impresses with its exuberant beauty and realism very similar to the movie.
From the Animal Kingdom parking lot, it is already possible to see her from afar and from that moment on, the anxiety starts to influence Avatar fans.
However, nothing compares to arriving in space.
The floating mountains and exotic vegetation of the land of Pandora has been reconstructed in a way that actually looks natural, although only part of it really is.
Most of them were created with cement, resin and plastic, but they give a realistic impression.
What to expect from Avatar Flight of Passage
In addition to the main attraction, the Pandora area of Animal Kingdom has one more attraction, a restaurant, a shop, kiosks in addition to the decoration that is really an attraction in itself.
The main attraction, in this case, is the Flight of Passage Avatar, and it's not for less! She is my favorite as I said at the beginning of the post!
It is a 4D simulator that simulates a flight by Pandora on a banshee, that bird that avatar residents use to fly.
Knowing this, you already know what you can expect from this attraction: an extreme experience that turns the fantasy of flying in the land of Pandora into reality.
Speaking like this, it seems like something “simple” and normally found in Disney parks, but believe me when I say, it is not!
The simulation is absurdly real! Get the sense of “reality” from the Soarin and multiply by 5.
Even so, I guarantee it will be a unique sensation. I always cry when I walk in it!
And to tell you the truth, I'm excited just writing about it lol
Some details are important.
To enter Avatar Flight of Passage you must be at least 1.12 meters tall, therefore, younger children unfortunately cannot participate.
Attraction Route
As in the film Avatar, visitors are invited to enter the body of a Avatar.
This is essential for visitors to enter the Pandora world and connect to your banshee.
The preparation, which serves to immerse you in the atmosphere of the adventure, takes 15 minutes, but you live every moment of it (and helps queue time pass more quickly).
After that you will sit on a kind of motorcycle that is actually your banshee.
Safety procedures follow with a piece of equipment that will help on your back.
Next, a screen opens in front of you that will put you in the mood for the trip, showing other animals gliding before you take off.
Each of these pieces of equipment in which visitors install themselves not only simulate the animal's movements, but also its breathing and the most subtle details such as muscle movement and wing flapping.
The tour is really incredible and you live an unforgettable adventure.
As it is a disputed attraction, evaluate the time of your arrival at the park and, if possible, purchase a Fastpass +, especially if you go at a time of year when the park is full.

Without a doubt, Avatar Flight of Passage is the most disputed attraction in the world of Pandora in Animal Kingdom, as well as in the entire park.

Pandora Store in Animal Kingdom: the Windtraders
The store in this area of the park is themed around the universe of Pandora, so don't expect to find items with other themes.
T-shirts, buttons and toys, among other objects that you can take, will be souvenirs of your visit to Pandor.
You can even create your own Avatar on a 3D printer, a super personalized gift to take back as a souvenir from the park.
Satu?li Canteen – Pandora's Restaurant
We already talked about it here on the blog because we love this restaurant. We even believe it is one of the best cost-effective food options in this park.
Both the quality of the meal and the price are very worthwhile at the restaurant located in the Avatar area of Animal Kingdom.
The restaurant is called Satu?li Canteen and serves meat options with side dishes, as well as a vegetarian option on the menu.
It has an outdoor and indoor area and has very tasty natural juices on its menu.
You can eat there for breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner and you can place your order through the My Disney Experience app.
Colors of Moara and Wilderness Explorers
Other things you'll find there, for example, is a kiosk called Colors of Moara which, in addition to selling products, does Na'vi-style facial makeup.
There is also a cost to do the makeup, but the children love it and it takes about 5 minutes to put the face in the mood of the attraction.
There is also Wilderness Explorers, a game for children to complete challenges in exchange for stickers that are used to stick in a booklet to keep as another souvenir of the park.
