The Springfield area is in Orlando, Florida. More specifically, it is located inside the Universal Studios Resort park! It is one of the lands of this park and is located by the lake, between the MIB Attraction and the Woody Woodpecker's KidZone children's area called Woody Woodpecker's KidZone!
There are many things to see and do there. First you will have the opportunity to meet several Simpsons characters in this area like Homer, Marge and Bart. Also you can ride the simpsons roller coaster simulator which is pretty cool. Plus you can have a beer at Moe's Bar, grab a bite to eat at Krusty Burger or shop at Kwik-E-mart.
It is a simulator that tells the story of this family visiting Krusty's park. So, on this ride they end up riding a runaway roller coaster. It is worth mentioning that the minimum height to participate in this adventure is 1.02 meters or 40 inches. Without a doubt, it is one of the most sought after attractions, so that means long lines. However, they tend to go fast.
If you've ever seen an episode of The Simpsons, you've probably seen Homer or other Springfielders having a beer at the town bar. That's right, the bar in town is Moe's tavern. And just like in the drawing, in Springfield at Universal Studios you can do the same thing. Sit back, relax and have a beer at this iconic Springfield spot!
In fact, instead of making just 1 restaurant, they created a food court with 7 different environments. Each one with a specialty and of course, inspired by the hit series. the menu of Springfield brings all 28 items available that had the approval of the creators of the drawing. Some of the options are: – Krusty Burger, which offers hamburgers and hot dogs; – Cletus' Chicken Shack, all the dishes there are chicken. – The Frying Dutchman which serves fried seafood; – Luigi's Pizzeria.
There you have two options of places to shop and, of course, also inspired by the Springfield from the animated series. The first is the Kwik-E-Mart. She is a convenience store where she sells everything exactly as in the drawing. After purchasing some products, don't forget to take a picture with Milhouse van Houten. A version of the character is just outside the store, sitting on a bench drinking a soda. Another shopping place there is the Duff Kiosk. This area is an outdoor kiosk in Springfield, which is right next to the brewery that bears the same name.
Yes! It's so worth it! Especially if you're a movie and cartoon fan. Even if you are not a fan, you will definitely enjoy the attraction and a quick walk there because the area is very beautiful and inviting! As it is one of Universal's park areas, enjoy some time in your day there!
