There are 2 Harry Potter areas in Orlando. Diagon Alley and the village of Hosgmeade! The 2 Harry Potter areas are found in Universal Studios Orlando Resort parks and are the most amazing areas of both parks, and will leave every visitor's jaw dropped! Let's check out each of them and their details in this post!
It was the first area created in Universal Studios Florida parks. More specifically at Islands of Adventure park. In addition to the Hogsmeade village much visited in the books and movies here you will also have the opportunity to see and visit the beloved Hogwarts castle! That's right, Hogwarts castle is present there and inside it there is an amazing Harry Potter simulator!
This is another area of Harry Potter that is in the Universal Resort Florida complex. Specifically, it is located at Universal Studios Orlando. It's an amazing area and you'll feel like you're in the movie. In addition to many stores just like in the movies and books, Diagon Alley is also home to an amazing attraction that takes place inside Gringotts Bank.
It's the famous attraction of Hogwarts Castle! The castle itself is already full of interactions and is without a doubt one of the best attractions for fans of the series. I remember the first time I went there, and as a huge Harry Potter fan, I was just crazy about everything I saw there. It's really magical! The attraction itself is an amazing 4D simulator that makes you feel like you're in the movie and you never want it to end.
The latest themed roller coaster is one where you ride Hagrid's motorcycle through the Forbidden Forest. It's an attraction full of details for fans and a sensational roller coaster even for those who don't love Harry Potter. The tip here is to arrive when the park opens and go early if it is open because it is usually very crowded!
The attraction is a mixture of a roller coaster, with a 4D simulator and is unlike anything you see in parks today. It even has details like changing the track in the middle of the attraction! That's awesome. The queue is already beautiful and an attraction on its own if you are a fan like me. If you are not a fan of Harry Potter, then you can opt for the Single Rider if the line is long, and just take a peek at the hall with the main line to satisfy your curiosity.
This is a very interesting attraction because in addition to being an attraction it is also a means of transport that can take you from one area of Harry Potter to another. Then you can board it either from Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade and it will exit in the other area. Important detail, to ride this attraction you need a park-to-park ticket that gives access to both parks on the same day.
Yes! It's so worth it! Especially if you're a fan of the movies or the books. The areas are very interactive and with a lot to see and do besides, of course, several shops and restaurants that we haven't talked about here yet. If you are in Orlando or planning a trip to Orlando, put the Harry Potter areas on your itinerary!
