With the constant increase in ticket prices, food and activities at Disney World, it is important to know some free activities there. Unlike what many people think, there are several free activities to do at the Disney complex in Orlando, Florida. Let's check out some of the coolest ones here in this post.
We'll start with one of my favorites. Disney Springs is a shopping and dining complex located in Walt Disney World. It is the perfect place to spend an afternoon, evening or even a whole day. There are several excellent restaurants there and many unique shops, including the largest Disney store in the world, World of Disney!
It is one of the few known places, but full of attractions. Thus, the Boardwalk is a huge boardwalk on the edge of a lake. It is at the back of the Boardwalk Inn Hotel and right next to Epcot Park. You can even access Epcot directly via the boardwalk, which will take you directly into World Showcase. Boardwalk offers many restaurants and a unique atmosphere at Walt Disney World!
Disney has more than 20 hotels at Walt Disney World. All are amazing and some of them offer amazing places to visit. And you can do this even without being hosted on them. Some of the hotels that are excellent to walk around and get to know: Disney's Polynesian Resort Disney's Art of Animation Disney's Grand Floridian Disney's Contemporary Resort Disney's Boardwalk Inn Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Disney's Wilderness Lodge
The Skyliner is Disney's cable car. It can even be used to move from hotels or just to take a walk. In order to appreciate the grandeur of the place from above. Indeed, it has 300 gondolas in 8 different colors. Some with prints of Disney characters, such as Mickey, Frozen, Star Wars and several others. It has 5 stations where you can get on or off, they are: Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation/ Pop Century and Riviera Resort!
Both the Monorail and the FerryBoat are modes of transportation used at Walt Disney World Resort. Even so, walking in them ends up being an attraction on its own, in addition to taking you where you want to go. The cool thing is that riding these means of transport is free, so even if you're not going to a park, you can hitch a ride on one of them for a ride!
It is the famous city of Walt Disney. Thus, it is a quiet region that looks like a movie set. There are several very beautiful houses, with tree-lined sidewalks and platforms among the marshes. You can even see alligators sunning themselves from there. 9 thousand people inhabit this place and there you will find good restaurants, shops and sweets. There are still very interesting attractions such as walks along the lake shore. It is also possible to ride a carriage and there is a fair that takes place every Sunday.
We recommend that you include these activities on days when you are not going to a theme park as they are very large and can be very tiring. These free tours can fill several days of your trip, and it's possible to do several of these activities in the same day!
