Pirates of the Caribbean - Magic Kingdom Incredible Attraction

Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic kingdom.

Pirates of the Caribbean is considered one of the most spectacular attractions ever created for a Theme Park.

If you haven't heard about 'Pirates of the Caribbean', you've probably just arrived from another planet.

The Pirates of the Caribbean is the attraction that the incredibly popular 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movies are based on

Incidentally, now the attraction has become the attraction that is based on the movies.

Strange? Not at all, it was an already very famous and fun attraction!

However, it has now undergone changes to include characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Like Captain Jack Sparrow in different parts of the attraction for example.

The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction was originally made as a wax museum and a walking adventure.

But following the success of Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress from the 1964 New York World's Fair, Walt Disney and his team of Imagineers decided that the attraction should be more dynamic.

On March 18, 1967, the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction debuted at Disneyland Park.

What is the Pirates of the Caribbean Attraction like?

Thanks to the many highly detailed environments, beautiful effects and beautifully made animatronic characters, the attraction received excellent reviews and has remained a beloved classic ever since.

Due to the great demand it was in, the attraction opened in our beloved Magic kingdom on December 15, 1973.

The imposing fortress at the end of Adventureland is home to the ride Pirates of the Caribbean.

In fact, it is very difficult not to see it, as we show in the photo below.

The line spins and turns in a dark underground cave that leads to the boat ride.

After a close encounter with Blackbeard and Davy Jones, you will float through a cave headed for a quick, dark fall.

When your boat enters the main area of the attraction, you will find yourself in the middle of a battle with cannon fire passing by.

Captain Barbossa himself shouts orders from the pirate ship.

Keep an eye out for Captain Jack Sparrow.

He will appear in a barrel, peek behind a mannequin and also appear in the one on the sidewalk, he is on top of a mountain of spoils.

That's right, despite being the attraction that gave rise to the films. Disney includes several characters from the films in the attraction.

Is it worth riding the Pirates attraction at Magic Kingdom?

Without a doubt! So far it is one of the attractions that we like the most in Magic Kingdom.

Practically every time we go there I want to ride it.

Okay, she's a lot nicer for some specific group types, like:

People who like or have people in the group who like the Pirates theme
People who like Pirates of the Caribbean movies with Johnny Depp
People who have been on this attraction and have a sense of nostalgia
People who like the story of Walt Disney because the creation of Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland was inspected directly by our dear Walt
I fit all of the above, so it's a fantastic attraction for me!

Get your Parks Tickets at a Discount

Many people leave to buy their tickets arriving in Orlando or even on the day of the park.

We do not in any way recommend that you do this for a variety of reasons, such as:

If you buy tickets on the spot, you won't be able to book your park days in advance at the risk of not even being able to enter a park on a given day.

You will lose valuable park minutes in line to buy your tickets.

AND MAINLY, you will pay more because tickets at the box office are more expensive than buying in advance!
