In this post, we're going to talk a little about how the Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch, these beloved Disney characters!
On this post
No doubt having meals with characters in the Disney ends up making the trip even more magical and is always a good choice to add to your itinerary.
There are many restaurant options offering breakfast, lunch and/or dinner with characters both in the parks of Disney like in hotels.
One of the cutest restaurants with rare characters is Ohana, where you can find Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto, the latter in a Hawaiian atmosphere.
That restaurant it has a Hawaiian theme, so it features characters from the place.
It's nice that in addition to the meal, you can get to know the hotel, there is also another differentiated meal with a Hawaiian show, Aloha.
For being a meal that refers to Hawaii and the movie “Lilo and Stitch“, you will notice that everyone there is called cousin, which means cousin. This is because the theme of the film comes with reference to family and the phrase “Ohana means family”.
The name of the breakfast is “Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch", which means something like "Best Friends Breakfast Starring Lilo and Stitch” and has family-style service.
Breakfast is very lively and one of the points that should be highlighted is the service, as soon as you arrive you need to go to the restaurant reception so that they can check you in, they will give you a page and you will have to wait in the armchairs from reception or in the mini queue to take the photo with the cutie Stitch.
Don't forget to link the photo with the photographer with your park ticket or Magic Band!
If you are going with children, from time to time, the characters call the kids to participate in the Ohana Family Parade, which is a small parade that takes place through the corridors of the restaurant with lots of music, where children are given musical “instruments” to accompany the rhythm of the music. No doubt an extra interaction with the characters and the parents are drooling over the puppies.
How is Ohana's food?
the meal of Ohana for breakfast with Lilo and Stitch, the all-you-can-eat buffet, the famous “all you can eat” and served in Family Style, but without the need to go to the buffet to choose your food.
You are accommodated at your table and the portions are brought to you, if you need to replace something, just ask and your waiter will take it as many times as requested.
Undoubtedly, it is one of the most pleasant types of buffet service, because you get everything freshly prepared, warm, with replacements at all times, just like in a la carte restaurants, but with a fixed price.
Ohana's menu is basic but very tasty, the variety is limited but like any Disney food it is very well prepared. There are Mickey waffles on the menu, some savory and sweet breads, these with coconut and pineapple (delicious), fruits, bacon, potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage, special juice just like the one in the movie "Lilo and Stitch", coffee, hot chocolate and water.
For those who enjoy a nice egg, bacon and sausage in the morning, you will really enjoy the Ohana, for those who go with children or adults who like more basic things, the restaurant is also a good choice.
Depending on your purpose with the meal: seeing the characters, eating something more homemade and Americanized and/or getting to know the hotel, the meal will be perfect for your family.
If by chance you are going to Magic Kingdom and want to eat something nearby and then head to the park, the Ohana is a great option, since from it to the Magic Kingdom you can go on foot and save time in the displacement.
You being that character crazy person who loves collecting autographs and photos, once again the Ohana takes the lead, because Lilo can only be found there and the Stitch when it appears through the park, the lines are quite long.
Does your group have children? If you have, the Ohana ends up being super recommended, the kids have a lot of fun with the Hawaiian atmosphere, with the necklace, music, simpler food and the parade through the restaurant along with the characters. The fruits, the waffle with the face of the Mickey, sweet and savory bread, in addition to the egg, ends up being everything the little ones want for their magical moments in the Disney.
You being that person who LOVES to eat and food is your strong point, it may be that Ohana not be the restaurant that you will love for the food itself, but that certainly for the other points: service, environment, characters, theme and in general, the Ohana It ends up earning many points.
Remember that being a restaurant in a hotel next to the Magic Kingdom and with characters it is recommended to book in advance, reservations open 180 days before the preferred date and can be made through the application My disney experience, by the website of Disney or by calling Disney reservations, and assistance can be provided in Portuguese.
As it is breakfast, opening hours usually start at 7 am and go until 11 am.
