The Walt Disney World announced some news to Epcot, including the New Pavilion: “Play pavilion“, which will replace Wonders of Life, a recreated main entrance, and an Experience Center that will showcase the future of the park.
Here's some basic information about this great new feature for epcot!
This one epcot new pavilion will replace the now defunct Wonders of Life and offer brand new experiences.
In recent years Wonders of Life has served as the “Hub” of the Food & Wine Festival and has been the subject of rumors for over a year now of what would happen in its place, something marvel-related has even been considered and even amusingly .
But Disney finally disclosed what he had in his plans for the epcot's new pavilion.
The space will be transformed into an innovative and interactive “city” with lots of games, hands-on activities and meet and greets with Disney characters in an energetic metropolis.
This one "Play pavilion” (which does not yet have an official name) will be released by the 50th birthday of Walt Disney World in 2021.
In addition, the changes are arriving at the main entrance of the Epcot, where a new square will welcome guests with redesigned paths, ample green spaces and a newly recreated fountain.
This new design pays homage to the original park entrance with "updated classic elements".
Most importantly, Leave a Legacy will be removed, with photos transferred outside Epcot's turnstiles.
Next is the Experience Center in the Odyssey Events Pavilion.
It will offer interactive displays that show the Epcot's future as it enters an "unprecedented period of transformation".
A significant refit will also begin between Spaceship Earth and the World showcase Promenade, which is the ?Spine Central? that was first announced nearly two years ago at the D23 Expo, meaning epcot is going to pretty much completely change!
In today's release, Walt Disney World indicated that more details on these transformations will follow at a later date.

Finally, the Walt Disney World recapped others new developments at the Epcot, including:
- Remy's Ratatouille Adventure
- A Beauty and the Beast film in the France pavilion
- a new 360 degree film for the China pavilion and updated
- The Canada! 360 degree show
- exclusive dinner inspired by the natural beauty of Japan
- space-themed restaurant next to Mission: SPACE
- Epcot Forever in 2019, followed by a new nighttime show in 2020.
- Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster
None of these projects or Central Spine are new, but it's nice to hear an update on them.
With much of the re-imagining of the flow of Epcot, there is always the possibility of previously announced projects being cut.

We are very excited and looking forward to this news for the epcot, despite being a park that we like a lot, it's great to know that it will receive new elements to attract a more diverse audience.
