Universal CityWalk Orlando is the self-proclaimed epicenter of Orlando fun, is that statement true?
Let's follow this post for you to draw your conclusions!
There is so much to do and see here that you can easily spend a few hours just exploring the area.
What a great way to add to your already amazing visit to universal parks Orlando Resort!
CityWalk is a starting point, whether you're making the most of an adult-only trip or if you're there with your whole family.
In this handy guide, I'll show you all the great restaurants, shops, and entertainment you can find on Universal CityWalk Orlando.
This restaurant, shopping and entertainment center is located right in the center of the Island of adventure It's from Universal Studios Florida. At the address:
6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819, United States
That means you can easily leave the parks for a bite to eat and then keep riding the roller coasters!
We also recommend CityWalk to enjoy a nice relaxing meal or showcase before returning to the hotel.
We love that this provides a short break and change of scenery, as well as a selection of killer foods.
CityWalk is great too because it's not too widespread, on the contrary, everything is concentrated in one place!
There is plenty to do in a relatively condensed area without feeling crowded, so you don't have to walk much.
We are usually tired of walking around the parks all day! So being close together becomes a big advantage.
For those staying at a Universal Orlando hotel, it's easy to make CityWalk part of your day.
Whether you're staying at Universal & #8217; s Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort, Lowes Royal Pacific Resort, Lowes Portofino Bay Hotel or Universal & #8217; s Hard Rock Hotel, your theme park water taxi will leave you right in the middle of CityWalk.
For guests of Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort Hotel and Universal's Endless Summer Resort #8217; Surfside Inn and Suites, you will need to take a bus from Universal.
Parking at Universal CityWalk
Parking at Universal is quite simple because Universal and Island theme parks, Volcano Bay (Universal water park) and CityWalk share the same two main garages.
Once parked, simply follow the signs to the security center you pass before entering CityWalk and the theme parks.
There are a few different options you can use to get a seat at Universal CityWalk:
The lowest cost all-day option, general parking can put you anywhere between 5 to 20 minutes' walk from the security center.
Arriving in the morning or later offers a good chance of getting a solid point. Price has varied greatly in recent months, so be prepared to leave around $25 in this mode.
Preferred parking ensures a more convenient parking space than currently available for general parking.
This still leaves some variations of where you can park, but it definitely reduces walking time.
Buses and Vans
Large vehicles have a parking area completely separate from the main garages & #8211; Follow the signs to get to the right place!
Parking for these costs only US $ 5 more than parking in general.
Evening / Evening
Someone said … free ?!
During low season, parking after 18h is free at Universal.
During the busiest times of the year, you will still find discounted rates.
If you are visiting Orlando for other attractions and just want to make a brief appearance on CityWalk, this is the best time.
Save this money and buy a souvenir! Remember that this is not the case during special events such as the Halloween Horror Nights.
Valet parking (Valet)
With two different prices (two hours and less or more than two hours), the valet certainly has its advantages.
You will be parked in a separate area very close to the CityWalk entrance and directed to a less busy security station.
Red Carpet Valet(Red Carpet Valet)
The red carpet valet includes all the advantages of the regular valet, with even closer parking and the promise that your car will be delivered in five minutes or less.
Even better? You cut the line and avoid the wait. For those who are fine ($$) is a great saving of time and distance.
Citywalk Parking Tip
Write down the parking section and the queue number (eg ET 415).
Don't trust your memory, especially after a long day of shopping and dining! Also because the parking lots are huge and you could waste a lot of time on it.
Another big mistake beginners make is not paying attention to which garage they return to when leaving Universal.
When you arrive at the security hub, it is important to look for the boards and follow the appropriate path toward the designated section.
Since the two garages do not connect, you may end up in circles looking for your car.
Is too much information to park? Do not worry! Going by Uber or taxi or whoever you want is also an option.
Head to the bus parking lot to be left (Guest Drop off) & #8211; take the escalators and follow the signs to reach the entrance.
The advantage of combined parking between Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay and CityWalk is that you don't have to drive between Universal destinations if you want to change.
However, if you're wandering around Orlando properties, just keep your receipt and sign in again at no additional charge at the end of the day.
Universal CityWalk Restaurants
If you thought you had a lot of parking information, get ready for the restaurant session.

American cuisine, such as hamburgers and steaks, receives open kitchen treatment with smells and smoky flavors. Be sure to leave room for dessert time!
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
One of the big favorites of Brazilians here in Citywalk.
Run, Forrest, Run! & #8221; To this southern favorite house, just like Mom makes them.
Bubba Gump features a versatile seafood menu and other house favorites & #8211; including gluten and kids menus.
If you don't like seafood, grab the award-winning barbecue ribs.
Hard Rock Café Orlando
A classic spot for a fun meal, Hard Rock Café Orlando will get you ready for rock.
With an excellent range of dishes, accompanied by live entertainment.
Musical memorabilia are center stage with Elvis's own costume, Buddy Holly's famous sunglasses, and much, much more.
Hard Rock offers standard dishes including salads and sandwiches.
NOTE: In our last last visits to Hard Rock, we have to say that it disappointed us immensely. We talk in more detail about Hard Rock blog post here.
Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville
There is no better way to get into the laid back spirit of Florida than having a few drinks at Margaritaville.
Jimmy Buffett's restaurant is known for stacked hamburgers and tropical frozen drinks.
Stop by the Margaritas drinks window for Go Surf Shack for a marg on-the-fly or head in for tropical dinner and live music.
This is one of the best options for groups of adults who want to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere having good drinks here.
NBC Sports Grill & Brew
Of all Universal CityWalk restaurants, if I needed to recommend a restaurant for a large family with different tastes, it would be NBC Sports Grill & Brew.
This restaurant has a huge menu with a flavor for everyone… from towering burgers to Caribbean Mahi, pasta and everything.
Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The NBC Sports Grill & Brew is an absolute winner if you are looking for an easy meal.
Pat O & #8217; Brien
Transport yourself to New Orleans at Pat O'Briens, where Cajun dishes are served while dueling pianos are played.
Don't forget to order langoustines or a Sweet Bag of Beignets for an authentic Louisiana-style meal.
The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar
You won't find a more exclusive restaurant on Universal CityWalk than The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar.
Where else can you find a sushi burger combo ?! This Asian-American fusion restaurant has a great selection of hamburgers, delicious sushi and many combinations of the two.
One of Citywalk's hidden gems! It's worth a meal there, whether it's lunch or dinner!
The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen
At Toothsome, the portions are large and the taste is even bigger!
Described as restaurant, drink and confectionery… what more could you ask for? Toothsome features rich and indulgent dishes, from Bourguignon chicken to apple pie crepes.
This 19th-century steampunk-themed restaurant also offers an outrageous variety (in the best possible way!)
From milkshakes or confectioner's sweets. This is one of our favorites in Citywalk and it surprised us a lot on our last trip! I had a risotto and Nath a hamburger and both were delicious!
The weather is wonderful and the price of the food is super fair!
VIVO Italian Kitchen
For a contemporary twist on Italian cuisine, stop for dinner at VIVO Italian Kitchen.
Hot pizza, pasta, bread and of course vino (wine) will surely satisfy your taste buds.
CityWalk Quick Bites
Whether you just want a quick bite or are on a budget, Universal CityWalk also has many options.
It can be a great break from the overload and excess of holiday food.
You can choose from exclusive district fast-service restaurants or find your favorite fast food chain.
Good things certainly come in pink boxes.
This quirky bakery serves over 50 unique fresh cakes daily.
Coming from Portland, Oregon, we are very lucky that Voodoo Donut has arrived at Universal CityWalk Orlando, the first and only (so far) East Coast location!
Indulge in a triple chocolate donut topped with cocoa puffs or opt for the vegan version of classic donut flavors.
Only from entering this store will you have great desires to eat a donut!
Red Oven Pizza Bakery
Another place that Nath and I love! We ordered a takeaway pizza to eat at the hotel and my regret was that it didn't take 2! Simply delicious and well priced!
Whether you enjoy your meal on the covered patio or the take-out window, Red Oven Pizza Bakery will surely satisfy your pizza desire with its inventive variety of pizzas.
The best part? They are cooked in 90 seconds or less so you can quickly continue your ride!
Bread Box Handcrafted Sandwiches
This is not an ordinary diner. Bread Box offers truly hot and cold gourmet options.
My personal favorite is the Veggie Melt with Portobello Mushrooms, Avocado, Caramelized Onion, Swiss Cheese, Arugula, Truffle Oil and Basil Pesto.
At a great price, this is a great discreet place to feed your whole family.
Hot Dog Hall of Fame
The Hot Dog Hall of Fame is probably Universal Orlando's most exclusive budget restaurant.
The name says it all & #8211; this venue offers a home-made variety of hot dogs inspired by local favorites such as Washington, featuring cabbage salad, buffalo sauce, blue cheese sauce and celery salt.
The theme is paired with tasty dogs, plus stadium-style seating, artificial grass and grandstands!
We have to say this is a great opportunity to eat a wonderful dog in Orlando. We ate there one day, the lunch price is affordable and the hot dog was delicious!
Fusion Bistro Sushi and Sake Bar
Located on the second floor above the cinema, this bistro can be easy to miss, but now you know where to look.
When you don't want to wait for a table at Cowfish, this is an amazing option.

From stargazing on the big screen to mini golf, your family will have fun.
There is no better way to relax than with a movie after a busy day at the parks.
Watch the latest box office hit.
Bob Marley & #8211; a tribute to freedom
You get much more than a normal dining experience.
This restaurant is inspired by Bob Marley's home in Kingston, Jamaica, and is full of artifacts, photos, and music videos from our favorite reggae legend.
In addition to good Jamaican food, there is great entertainment & #8211; a live reggae band or DJ every night.
After 10 pm however, it becomes an adult-only access point.

You won't find a mini golf course like this at home!
CityWalk Bars & Nightlife
If you need a night to relax, Universal CityWalk is popular with tourists and locals alike for its bars and nightlife.
It is worth buying a pass, which allows you to enter select bars and clubs with unlimited access by US $ 12, rather than paying the regular entry fee for each one. After a certain time, some locations require you to be 21 or older, so to get the most out of the night, take your identity.
Fat Tuesday is your place to go if you want to sip some cocktails without spending too much… or spending a lot of time waiting in a bar.

This tiki-chic nightclub has a floor dedicated to dancing and a second floor dedicated to dining.
Check out the outdoor patio for an unbeatable view of CityWalk's twinkling lights.

What better way to remember the time of your life on vacation than with a beautiful new watch?

CityWalk's Best Tips & #8211; Universal orlando
There is a journey between the parking garages and the security center, which leads to CityWalk.
To help you increase your pace, the moving walkways are open to help you move on.
When it comes to manners, treat the mobile walkway as if it were a road. Slow walkers to the right, fast-paced people to the left… and always move.
Remember, no strollers. Don't be the group that is delaying traffic!
Try something unique. Of course, a simple dinner at Burger King Whopper Bar is a burst of flavor. However, we recommend thinking outside the box for your dining options. Instead, try the Red oven pizza as a more exclusive and cost effective option.
Do not wait around. Are you just wanting a quick drink or snack? Avoid the complete dining experience.
There are many great places where you can have fun without investing a lot of time or money. Grab a milkshake from the Toothsome ordering station or head to the Margaritas Surf Shack for Jimmy Buffett.
Dine at odd times. Having lunch at 1 pm on the spot or having dinner at 7 pm is a surefire way to get caught in a long wait.
Try to schedule meals for irregular hours & #8211; have a late lunch around 2:30 pm and dine around 8pm.
This will allow you to use this timeout for better things!
Make reservations. If you would like to dine at Antojitos, call ahead or book online to guarantee a table for your family without a long wait.
Schedule a night around your entertainment. Got tickets for the Blue Man Group?
Be sure to schedule your evening wisely so you can enjoy a great dinner with plenty of time to attend the show.
Regardless of whether or not you are at CityWalk before a show, be sure to arrive two hours before show time to allow plenty of time for parking, security, and travel.
Take advantage of the dining and entertainment offerings.
For example, you can enjoy a full-service meal that includes a starter and non-alcoholic drink and dessert at select restaurants and a Blue Man Group show for a discounted combined price.
Plan, plan, plan. There are tons of shopping, dining and entertainment options at CityWalk.
Research the options and find out what would be best for you and your group. If you need some extra help, be sure to find us for a Custom script.
CityWalk will surprise you with its splendor, so it's good to have a game plan ahead of time.
Plan efficiently. Think you will be spending a lot of money on a particular store? Save this for later so you won't have to carry your bags all day.
Beware of time. Just like in the parks themselves, Universal CityWalk Orlando is a mostly outdoor experience.
If there is rain in the forecast (which happens more often than you think), bring umbrellas, raincoats or emergency ponchos.
It's much better to be prepared than to have to hide in a store.
Even beware of the good weather. Again, CityWalk will expose you to all the elements. Use sunscreen and stay hydrated to keep the family lively.
Please note that some of the bars, restaurants and clubs charge a coverage fee of US $ 7 (some only after a certain time, usually 10 pm), and only adults 21 and older are allowed.
This includes The Groove, Bob Marley & #8211; a tribute to freedom, Pat O & #8216; Brien & #8217; s, Rising Star and Red Coconut Club.
Of these five points, the only place you can't use Party Pass is Bob Marley & #8211; a tribute to freedom.
If you have an annual pass, use your discount. It's easy to forget, as you're not in the parks, but still keep your pass handy at Universal CityWalk. Many shops and attractions offer special prices.
We have reached the end! Wow, time to breathe! Do you believe there is so much to do in the heart of Universal Orlando? It's definitely worth a night & #8211; or up to one full day & #8211; on here.
It's the perfect place for a getaway, whether you want a wild night of karaoke and cocktails or a laid-back afternoon filled with fast food and shopping.
